So I had the most amazing last two nights ever!! Let's start off with last night. :) I went to the Gaither concert at Arco...so much fun!! Definitely got my monies worth with that, it was 4 hours long!! I got to see, for the first time, Ernie Haase and Signature Sound...SO amazing!! Those guys are incredible!! I'm hooked! :) And the *new* vocal band. I hadn't seen Wes and Marshall yet so they were new to me! I have to admit that Wes is my favorite though! The highlight of my night, was when JASON CRABB walked out on stage! Totally made my night, my week, my month lol!!! He is one of my favorites and it was incredible to see him live. What a gift from God he has. And Janet Paschal was there, Russ Taff, Jeff and Sheri Easter and their daughter, Kevin Williams, their guitar and bass player...hilarious!! So that was the fantastic night I had last night. Tonight, I was looking up videos on youtube of all the people there, and I started checking out some of their websites....and I came across Russ Taff's! And to my surprise, I found out that TONIGHT he was playing, with Margaret Becker, at William Jessup University at 7:30pm and it was only $10 to go!!!! So my dad graciously let me go :) and Janessa came with me. It was perfect...I got close parking :), 3rd row seats :), and to top it all off, I got to meet Russ and talk with him for a little bit, he signed my cd, and gave me 2 hugs :) :) :D :D!!!!! Lol!! So needless to say, I'm thrilled beyond words, and the only thing that has a damper on my smile is that I'm starving! Ha ha!! Now I am going to eat, but I wanted to get out all of my excitement and this was the best way to do it!! :)

In The Christmas Spirit.......

Hi everybody!!

I am super excited for Christmas!!! (And Thanksgiving!!) But I've been listening to Christmas music for almost 3 months off and on, and I'm still not sick of it. I can't wait til all the baking starts, so the house starts to smell like baking (!!), and for the Christmas tree to be all decorated and lit up, and the stockings to be hung, and fiiinally......for the presents to start going under the tree!! Ha ha!! I'm KIDDING! Kiiiiinda! :) It's just everything about the holidays. Seeing family, getting Christmas cards in the mail....I love that! Getting pictures of people you haven't seen in centuries! Everyone seems to be in a better mood too! And funny things always happen during the holidays too. No one seems to care about bursting into song and what they sound like! :) I was actually singing a Christmas song yesterday and Janessa thought I was crying! HAHA!! Guess I was having a bad singing day or somethin! Speaking of bad singing.....(ha ha!) we only sing Christmas songs on service at church, but it is a very interesting time hah! NO ONE can ever find a good key so it's all jumbled together and all crazzy! It's funny! :) But it's everything about the holidays. I CAN'T WAIT!!!! On Christmas morning, my sister and I get up at like 8...or 9...sometimes 10 lol!! (We're not the spring chicks we used to be!!) And then we have to wait for my parents to get their coffee and get dressed (ugh, who gets dressed on Christmas!! That's part of the fun is stayin in your jammies!!) So then they finally arrive and we go to the living room and read the Christmas story from the Bible. After that my dad asks us the same question every year....What is the greatest gift you could ever receive??? Answer..............the gift of the Holy Ghost! :) And then we get to open presents and call and wake my Grandparents up (who live in Alaska) and then later that day we get to go my other Grandparents house!!! It's so much fun! Well, I, for one, am ready for Christmas!! :) How bout you?! Anyway....I have no clue why I just wrote all this. I guess I just wanted to talk! LOL!

Sunday Night!

So this Sunday night, Michael (my cousin) and his girlfriend, Brittany, got baptized! It was so amazing and beautiful! If someone had told me even a few months ago that they would be going to church, getting baptized and seeking after they Holy Ghost, I'd never have believed you. Just goes to show you that God's ways are bigger than yours and He can do ANYTHING! I am still so excited!!! As soon as Michael came out of the water, he was worshiping and praising God. He was close to getting the Holy Ghost again! Keep praying for him and Brittany! I believe they will both get it! SOON!

After service (which was AWESOME, by the way), we went out to eat with the youth of Citrus Heights church! Sooo much fun! I had a blast! It was hilarious! :) Ahhhh, memories!

Hope you enjoy the pictures!!

Exciting News!

Hi everyone! I'm so SO SOOOO excited because it seems as though God is just unraveling things that we've been praying for, for so long. I've never really been able to stand back and say, wow, I can totally see what God is doing and how he's using this person to help out this situation, and so on and so forth. I had the awesome experience of going to West Coast Conference last week, and while I was there, on the very first night, I got a text message from my cousin's girlfriend that that night at church, my cousin, Michael Morgan, was up at the front during alter call and reaching out to God and almost got the Holy Ghost! He was really close a couple of times! Now, for those of you who don't know Michael, this is HUGE! He's had to deal with a lot of hard things in his life and he never really got into the whole "church thing". Until one day, he started becoming sensitive to what God was telling him and for the past few weeks, he's been going to church, and his girlfriend, Brittany, has been going with him. She's never been to an Apostolic church before and she's had quite the experience! :) But God's really been dealing with them and it's amazing to see how far they have come. So I was so excited to hear about all of that on Wednesday night, but on Friday morning, I got even BIGGER news!! I received a call from Brittany and she gave me the best news I've heard in a long time! She and Michael are getting baptized in Jesus name Sunday (today) night at 6:30 at the Citrus Heights church! God is so amazing! And He knows exactly what he's doing too...because this is a HUGE witness to my Uncle Greg, who backslid a couple years ago, to his new wife, Christie, who's never been to an Apostolic church or knows anything about it, to Ryan, Michael's brother, who doesn't seem to have an interest in going to church, and to all of Brittany's church, who has a Catholic background and know nothing about an Apostolic church either. Isn't it amazing how God can use just 1 person to touch so many others?? I am in shock, I shouldn't be because I know God can and will do anything, but I am in amazement and excitement! I can see God working in our family, and I love it! I am praying that God will fill all of them with the Holy Ghost!! I claim it in Jesus name! Please keep them all in prayer! :)

P.S. Man, what exciting news for my 1st post! :) :) :)
